Phoenix
have had a fabulous first time convention
at Birmingham Symphony Hall which was a superb
venue .
We are honoured to be SAI Region 31 champion
chorus and because we had the privilege of
watching most of the contest know the very
high standard we were up against. The warmth
,encouragement ,congratulations and praise
from sister choruses has been humbling to
say the least.For some of our singers it
was their first time on stage and the whole
experience has given them such an honest
flavour of the true spirit of this association.
Over the coming year we will represent the
region with pride and look forward with great
excitement to representing the region in
Hawaii in 2008.
Anyone who achieves success knows that there
is more hard work to come ,as improvement
never stops and the ethos of Phoenix is to
keep raising standards whilst having lots
of fun and making lifelong friends
