A NEW YEAR, A NEW HOBBY?
Are
you a female, over 16 years of age, really
enjoy singing, or perhaps really enjoyed
singing in the school choir years gone
by? Fancy meeting new friends, taking time
out of your busy lives just for you, then
PHOENIX may be just what you’ve been
looking for! This chorus has won many awards
and definitely have the X factor when it
comes to performing but hey, don’t
let that you scare you, only 1 person has
actually had any professional training
and 80% of the chorus cannot read music.
We are so successful because we have a
wealth of talent/educators within the chorus
but most importantly we work hard, having
lots of fun in the process, you could be
part of that!!!
The
best way to see if you’ll like it
is to come and watch us as we rehearse.
The location is
Potton Lower School,
Everton Road, Potton (see map below)
every Tuesday evening from 7.45 – 10.15 pm.
Don’t worry you won’t be asked to sing ,unless of course you want
to and a friendly welcome is guaranteed
We
know it can be quite daunting when you
walk into a room of strangers (we all had
to do it!) so just email visitor@phoenixladies.org and
we will arrange for someone to meet you
at the door.
If
half of you is saying ‘I’d
love to do that’ but the other half
is saying ‘there’s no way I
can do that’ ignore that half and
come along, what have you got to lose?
